Full-Service Wildlife Control

Wildlife Removal, Exclusion & Attic Restoration Services

Urban Wildlife Trapping Experts provides professional, humane wildlife control for homes, HOAs, and businesses across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. Every job is handled start-to-finish: inspection, trapping, sealing, and cleanup – no half fixes, no poison fogging, and no disappearing after the first visit.

Whether you’re hearing scratching in the attic, smelling something dead in the crawlspace, dealing with raccoons on the roof, or fighting pigeons and problem birds on a commercial building, our team builds a plan that actually solves the problem and keeps it from bouncing right back.

How Our Wildlife Control Process Works

Every job follows the same four steps: inspect, remove, seal, and clean. No shortcuts, no “we only set traps” approach. We build a treatment plan around your home, the animal species, and the legal regulations in your city so the problem is solved the right way the first time.

Inspection of attic and roofline for wildlife entry points

Step 1 · Inspect

Full Home & Attic Inspection

We start with a top-to-bottom inspection of the roofline, attic, crawlspace, and exterior. Our technicians look for tracks, droppings, damage, nesting, and every possible entry point. You get clear explanations and photos of what we find so you always know what we’re recommending and why.

Humane animal trapping and removal

Step 2 · Remove

Humane Trapping & Eviction

Depending on the species and situation, we use live traps, one-way doors, eviction liquids, or deterrent setups. Our goal is the same every time: remove the animals with as little stress as possible, follow California wildlife regulations, and avoid separating moms from babies whenever we can. For orphan-sensitive cases, see our orphaned wildlife services.

Screening and sealing wildlife entry gaps

Step 3 · Seal

Entry-Point Sealing & Exclusion

Once the animals are out, we close off the routes they used to get in. That can include roof gaps at eaves, attic vents, fascia boards, under-home access, garage door corners, utility penetrations, and more. We use chew- and dig-resistant materials so the same animals can’t just push their way back inside. Learn more on our exclusion & damage repair page.

Attic cleanup and new insulation after wildlife contamination

Step 4 · Clean

Sanitize, Deodorize & Restore

After animals are removed and openings are sealed, we can clean up contaminated areas. That may include removing droppings and nesting, sanitizing and deodorizing surfaces, and replacing damaged or urine-soaked insulation. For heavy contamination, visit our attic cleaning and crawlspace cleaning services.

Trapping & Humane Wildlife Removal

Wildlife Trapping, Removal & Relocation Services

Wildlife inside your attic, walls, or crawlspace creates noise, damage, and contamination. We focus on targeted trapping – setting the right traps in the right places based on animal habits, not random guessing. Our technicians are trained in species-specific behavior so traps are placed where the animals actually travel, feed, and climb.

Where We Commonly Trap

  • Attics, soffits, and rooflines
  • Crawlspaces and under-home areas
  • Garages, patios, sheds, and backyard structures
  • Commercial roofs, warehouses, and loading docks
  • HOA communities, townhomes, and apartment buildings

How We Handle Trapping

  • Species-appropriate traps and one-way doors
  • Humane methods that follow state and local regulations
  • No random poisons that leave dead animals in your walls
  • Daily or client-assisted trap checks to reduce animal stress
  • Safe removal, relocation, or transport per local rules
  • Clear instructions on what to watch for while traps are active

During baby season, we adjust our approach to avoid separating moms from litters whenever possible. For sensitive cases, we combine trapping and orphaned wildlife protocols so litters get the best possible chance.

Wildlife Exclusion & Damage Repair

Seal, Reinforce & Make Your Home Boring to Wildlife

If you only remove the animals and ignore the openings, you’re basically leaving a welcome mat out. Wildlife exclusion is the construction work that makes your home or building boring to wildlife – sealed, reinforced, and hard to chew or dig through. This is what keeps you from repeating the same trapping job every season.

Common Entry Points We Seal

  • Roof gaps at eaves, fascia boards, and soffits
  • Attic vents, gable vents, and rooftop penetrations
  • Crawlspace doors, vents, and foundation gaps
  • Garage door corners, siding transitions, and utility lines
  • High nesting ledges, balconies, and bird roosting spots
  • Gaps around AC lines, plumbing, and electrical conduits

Materials We Use

  • Heavy-gauge steel mesh and hardware cloth
  • Metal flashing and custom-cut covers
  • Concrete, mortar, and dig-proof footers where needed
  • Professional sealants rated for exterior use
  • Discreet color-matched materials whenever possible

Our exclusion work is designed to be both effective and clean. We’re used to working on finished homes, high-end properties, and HOA communities where appearance matters. When possible, we tuck materials behind trim or paint exposed metal so repairs blend with the structure instead of screaming “patch job.” You can see a full breakdown on our exclusion & damage repair service page.

Attic Cleanup, Sanitation & Odor Control

Attic Decontamination & Insulation Replacement

Animals don’t just make noise – they leave behind droppings, urine, nesting, and damage that can keep smelling long after the animals are gone. In attics and crawlspaces, that contamination can attract insects, create health concerns, and ruin insulation performance. Our attic cleanup and restoration services handle the dirty work so you don’t have to suit up and crawl through it yourself.

What We Can Do in Most Attics

  • Remove accessible droppings, nesting, and soiled materials
  • HEPA-vacuum contaminated insulation where needed
  • Apply disinfectant and deodorizing treatments to affected surfaces
  • Remove and replace damaged or urine-soaked insulation
  • Install fresh, code-appropriate insulation for better energy efficiency
  • Coordinate cleanup with exclusion so animals can’t re-enter

Not every attic needs a full rip-out. During your inspection we’ll tell you honestly what’s required, what’s optional, and where you can safely save money. For full details see our attic cleaning & insulation service.

Bird Control & Falconry-Based Deterrents

Pigeon, Sparrow, Swallow & Starling Control – Plus Falconry Services

Birds can turn ledges, roofs, beams, and signs into toxic messes of droppings, nesting, and noise. Our bird control services combine physical deterrents, netting, and professional falconry to push flocks off your property and keep them from coming back.

Bird Control Services We Offer

Falconry adds a natural predator presence to stubborn bird problems, especially where pigeons and other flocking birds have stopped responding to traditional deterrents. We tie falconry into a full bird-control plan that includes cleanup, droppings removal, and structural modifications so flocks have no reason to return.

Common Wildlife We Handle in Southern California

These are the animals that most often break into Southern California homes, attics, crawlspaces, and businesses. Each one needs a different strategy, both legally and practically. For deeper species info, visit our Wildlife Encyclopedia.

Call Your Local Office

Common Questions

Wildlife Control Service FAQs

How fast can you come out?

Response time depends on your location and how busy the schedule is that day, but we do our best to offer same-day or next-day appointments for active wildlife problems. When you call the office, we’ll give you the earliest realistic time window and keep you updated if anything changes.

Do you use poison to get rid of animals?

For wildlife like raccoons, skunks, opossums, squirrels, and bats, we do not rely on poison. We use trapping, one-way doors, eviction or deterrent strategies. For rodents, we focus on exclusion, trapping, and targeted methods that avoid animals dying inside walls whenever possible.

Will the animals be killed?

Our goal is always to handle animals humanely and in line with California regulations. What happens after capture depends on the species and local rules. Some wildlife can be relocated, while other species must be handled in specific ways under state law. Our team will explain options clearly for your situation.

Can you help if another company already tried and failed?

Yes. A lot of our work is cleaning up after partial jobs – traps with no exclusion, or poison without addressing entry points. We’ll re-inspect the property, show you what was missed, and design a plan that includes trapping, sealing, and cleanup so you’re not stuck in an endless cycle of “one more visit.”
